当你想说but来转折语气，不妨忍一下，然后在句子后面加个though，立马瞬间洋气了许多!

例如：

Our team lost. It was a good game, though。

Middle-aged people like to cook at home, young *s are a bit different, though。

雅思口语考试技巧2：多用副词

例如exactly, basically, really这些副词可以加强或者缓和兆兄语气，更准确的表达我们的真实想法。

例如：

That's exactly what I want!

Where are you going exactly?

So basically, there's not a lot I can do about it。

当你想说most of… 的时候，不妨改口成tend to，词汇量有没有显得多一些!

Most Chinese people cook at home instead of dining out. 就可以说成Chinese people tend to cook at home.

雅思口语考试技巧6：避免过多使用very

口语答案里面呢，要有意识的尽可能抛弃very，一种方法是用pretty替代，另一种就直接用个更高级的形容词。

例如：

That performance was pretty impressive。

I'm pretty sure about that。

还有instead of saying “very angry”， you can use the word “furious”。

同理，如果我们想表达a little + adj.，也可以找到相应的更传神的形容词，例如：tipsy = a little drunk

雅思口语考试技巧7：形容词前加副词

这也是不错的应急措施哦，如果实在想不到高大上的形容词了，就用一个副词来加强一下情感。

例如：

She's shockingly beautiful。

It's an outrageously expensive meal。

雅思口语考试技巧8：避免生硬地说NO

同学们在回答考官问题的时候，其实自己也觉得说个No很伤感情。

那怎么能用比较不伤感情的语言表达同样的意思呢，下面的几句可以记一下：

(至少)我不知道。(潜台词：可能有，不过我不知道。)

Have you ever had the experience when you watched the sky for a long time?

Not that I can think of, no。

我想不到。(潜台词：可能有，不过我暂时想不到，暂时记不起来。)

注意，每一个yes or no之后，一定要加原因哦!

雅思口语考试技巧9：考场上“mean”要用起来

“I mean”可以用来解释刚刚自己抛出去的话。

比如，在解释自己最不喜欢的电影的时候可以说：

That movie was so boring, I mean, nothing happened for the first hour!

这个也可以有很灵活的变体：and by… I mean…，比如：

He has a gorgeous wife, and by wife I mean mistress. (此例子完全为了解释用法…)

“You mean…?”

该句式是为了跟考官check information，如果你不想用“I'm sorry?”来让考官重复问题，你完全可以用它来确定一下自己的理解是否跟考官的问题吻合。

注意：一般这样问，是已经理解了八九不离十，如果真的完全没听懂问题，请用以下句式：

Sorry, I didn't quite catch it.

不好意思没听清，能在重复一下子吗?

Sorry, could you slow down, please?

不好意思您能把语速放慢点儿吗?

Sorry, can you rephrase the question, please?

不好意思您能解释一下刚才的问题吗?(就是问题里面有生词，此时无论考官repeat几遍问题，你也不可能懂，所以需要麻烦他rephrase改述一下问题)

二、提高雅思口语水平的技巧：
1、每天“读透”一篇阅读理解，就是不放过一个单词和句子，才能 真正掌握英语。
2、每周“熟背”一篇作文或完形填空，做到能背诵能默写。
3、每天朗读30分钟“必不可少”保持一年。
4、每天务必背半个小时的单词，包括复习和背新的单词，不断扩 大词汇量，建议用"単词风暴"这样的软件来背可以事半功倍。
5、一天多次朗读英语，利用零碎时间，一次只需3－5分钟。
6、疯狂抄写课文，同时大声朗读。

经常考雅思的同学会发现，很多雅思题目虽然问法经常改变，但是其实我们的答案却大同小异，尤其在第二部分话题卡的解答上。比如之前有个道题目叫：describe a wild animal. 在最近7月份上海地区华师大考区将这道题目变成了：describe a situation you close to a wild animal. 有的学生看到situation就变得比较紧张，觉得跟之前准备的有所差异，其实“换汤不换药”，就只需在讲的时候加入看到野生动物的地点、时间或陪同人物，后面仍然是对一个野生动物的描述。因此我们在准备口语的时候可以适时的多准备些万能句型或小段。但切忌死记硬背。

比如准备一些名人名言，可以应付掉很多张话题卡的哪运基阐述。例如我比较喜欢的一句话是电影《阿甘正传》中的一个经典句子：Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you'll gonna get. 这句话很好记，也不难说，并且涵盖了一些人生经历或意义，其实可以适用到很多话题卡中：

1. Describe a foreign film that influences you a lot. 这个话题很好插入上面这个万能句：我最喜欢的电影是《阿甘正传》因为演员，剧情等等，另外就是这么一句话让我明白了很多道理。

2. Describe a famous person. 是Tom Hanks, 他最著名的电影之一就是《阿甘正传》，他里面的这句话也让我印象深刻。

3. Describe an old person that helped you a lot. 我的亲戚、邻居、老师等等都可以说，另外可以说他们曾经说的这么一句话让我学到很多道理，影响了我, 尤其当我在人生道路上遇到很多困难时。

4. Describe an important letter or email that was sent to you. 很多学生会讲大学录取通知书，可是说自己一开始不想出国的，但是当拿到offer的那一瞬间，决定一定要出国经历下，因为想到了上面的这句话且鼓励了我。

5. Describe a TV program that made a strong impression on you. 有的学生说旅游节目，饮食节目或历史纪录片等。同样可以加入上面这句话，说明看了这些电视节目发现生活一定要多经历多感受，才会丰富多彩。

She is my clas*ate and she is beautiful.接下来我们就来看看这两个答题句的症结，句是不是怎么看都有点像万能通的短答句呢？句子成分已锋谈不能再简单了，所以我们的第二步就是”添油加醋”将其修改成具体切题的有长度的句子：Step1 ：近义词替换，like可换成be fond of, be keen on, be fascinated by 等近义短语。It也换成具体类别的东西例如light music, indoor activity, going to museums等内容以免被误会套模板；Because若怕多次出现重复的话可换成for the reason that, the explanation might be that等；make me relaxed 更加可以换成release my stress, 或者stay in a good mood等less common phrases.Step 2：增加句子成分，答句1里面大家可看到只有简单的主谓宾和因果成分，那么状粗者语和其他形容词修饰语都是木有的，所以我们的第二步就是加！加！加！问一问自己：什么时候听轻音乐放松呢？有些童鞋会答作业繁重学业压力大的银凳碰时候。Bingo! 状语来了 when I feel overwhelmed by those stressful burden from study. 此外，being overwhelmed程度严重么？如果不严重我们可以加在前面加a little bit那么归结起来句就可改为：I am quite fascinated by light music, especially when I feel a little bit overwhelmed by those stressful burden from study, for the reason that listening to it can release my stress.同样的道理我们用在雅思口语part 2的描述句中，第二句可改为：I would like to describe my friend who is also my clas*ate, Sherry.
