With the advent of new technologies in the field of computers and telecommunications， revolutionary changes have taken place in the feld of Library and Information Science. The shape of traditional libraries containing a large number of printed documents is in the process of being transformed into paper-less libraries containing a large number of digitized documents. The facilities offered by networking have not left libraries untouched. Modern libraries are not only digitized but networked also. This has led to the creation of virtual libraries， i.e.， libraries without walls through which the user has access to information at any time， anywhere in the world， by using the modern tools of communications， such as computers and Internet facilities.

However， one should keep in mind that a person goes to a library to search and get information from books and sit and study there. The library＇s ambiance and peaceful and scholarly atmosphere help one concentrate more on one＇s work and study. Thus， libraries will never become redundant. They will always be there to indicate the presence of a well-read and educated society.

Another important point is that it is very difficult to always read books from the computer monitor. Traditional books can be issued from the library and read in the comfort of your bed. Virtual libraries can be accessed only by those who are computer literate. Access to virtual libraries can be affected by power cuts and network failures. Moreover， in a traditional library， you are guided by the librarians if you need any help in searching for the book.

To put it in a nutshell， I pen down saying that advancement should be welcomed in every field， but the importance of the libraries for their fundamental role cannot be put aside. This tendency will add more crowns of success to the importance of libraries.

标点书写问题

按英文书写规定，标点应紧挨着它的附着意群进行标注，与另一个意群要以一个字符的空格隔开。但是在实际作文中经常发现学生不论什么标点都会当作一个单词来对待，即标点前后都空下空格，结果给人以标点满天飞的感觉，影响了文章的美感。

书写过于随意

写作格式混乱

总结段缺失

7. 雅思小作文和大作文字数是不是分别超过150,250就可以了

雅思写作对作文的字数要求是很严格的，小作文不少于150字，大作文不少于250个字。

流程图的写作需要注意以下几个方面。第一，时态问题。大多数流程图描述的是*某个产品的过程或是某个原理，属于一般事实情况，因此大多为一般现在时。第二，分段。流程图的分段较为灵活。单张图的情况下，可以根据各步骤分成两到三段。两张图或以上的情况下，则每图一段。第三，顺序词，文章中要用清晰的顺序词将每个步骤清晰的表示出来，如at the beginning of the process, then, next等等。第四，被动语态。流程图为体现客观性，避免人称的出现，基本上采用被动语态句式。第五，烤鸭们在平时的练习中，需要积累一些特定的表动作的词语，如grind, transfer, roast, rotate, melt等等。

大作文考试是混合型文体，由reason + argument组成。往常的议论部分通常出现的问法是is it a positive trend或是do you think it is true等，这次则提问了正反双边。

句型结构方面：要有复杂句，如从句（这是基本的，6分的作文还是要的），非谓语动词作定语、状语、独立结构（这是7,8分要的），倒装句（7,8分要的），强调句（6分的也可以用用，比较好用），被动语态（这个地球人都要会用），同位语（7,8要的，6分么也可以用用），插入语（7,8分要的，感觉会很好）等等。

词汇：中国学生往往对词汇的理解有个误区！！！总觉得，词用的越难越好，这是大错特错！！！去看看剑桥系列从书所提供的例文，没有一篇考官写的例文是用了很多难词的。词汇主要是强调多样性，即表达同一个意思，不要重复同样的表达方式。比如：要说某某事很重要，第一次如果用了important，第二次就不能再说了，可以换些表达，如significant, of great importance, have priority over。等等，这样表达的方式就多样了，考官就开心了，分数就高了。

真题分析

这一项评分标准中考生主要满足两个要求：①作文整体结构清晰，容易看出写作思路 ② 能够清晰阐述主要趋势、概括比较核心信息。在这一项评分标准中考生尤为要注意的是，切不可直白陈述图中已有的信息，这样很容易写成流水账。需要去努力做到的是：变着法的去比较归纳！

2. Coherence and Cohesion （连贯与衔接）

在这一项评分标准中，考生需要做到合理运用衔接手段，贯穿全文。一定要注意的是在下笔写作文前就可以把作文的思路和段落关系定下来，确定好衔接词。这么做的好处是，很容易让阅卷人在看到每段的开头就能明白你的作文思路，没有阅读障碍。

3. Lexical Resources （词汇丰富程度）

在这一项评分标准中，考生需要灵活使用丰富的词汇，但是需要注意的是，不仅仅是词汇要丰富，更加要做到一义多表达，即表达同一个意思可以整篇文章不重复相同的结构。

常见的从属连词有after,unless, even if, even though ,since , before , when (whenever),because, if, who(whoever),while, as (as if ), which(whichever), although , so that, where(wherever), until, that等。像because这样的从属连词开头的从句是不能单独存在的，它依赖于另一个句子方能使意义完整，也就是说单独的从句本身就是破句。
