(Part3): What are the advantages and disadvantages of living with friends?

考生:Well, one of the obvious benefits to living with friends is that you're rarely lonely. You always have someone around to talk to. It's good to share your worries or problems with other people. And also, I think living with friends also helps you learn to compromise, share things, and make an effort to talk to them even when you don't feel like socialising. However, you should be willing to make a few sacrifices. For one, you may have to adapt your lifestyle in certain ways. Then there's the matter of privacy. This is particularly true when your friend has their friends round - of whom you may not be such a fan - and they're using the common areas of the flat. This can become a real problem when it's exam season.

Describe a family member you spend most of time with

The person I want to introduce is my mother, who is a kindergarten teacher.

She looks quite thin with medium-height and penetrating eyes.

She is a really patient and considerate person, who spent most of time with me after work.

When we stay together, my mother devotes herself into taking care of me including cooking each meal, washing clothes and doing housework, whom I depend much on.

In addition, entertainment is really abundant between my mother and me. To illustrate, not only does my mother watch tv and listen to music with me during spare time, but also I am taken by my mother to travel in holidays frequently, which really enrich my life.

Besides, what impresses me most is that my mother tries her best to educate me. For instance, she always helps me with my homework when I have problems or she can even teach me some extra academic knowledge. Most importantly, it is she who teaches me some necessary and essential qualities such as being honest, being polite and so on, who has a positive influence on me.

In conclusion, my mother is the person who I spend most time with.

discus?

How does scientific research benefitspace, medical, environmental and information technologies?

Does money bring people more happiness or make them less secure?

In your opinion, what languages will become morepopular in the future?

它着重的是四样东西:world views(世界观),beliefsystems(信仰体系),values(价值观),attitudes(态度)。

(Giving reasons)
Why do you think …?
Why is it important to do…
Do you think …? Why (not)?
Is it a good idea to (do…)? Why (not)?
(Providing speculations)
How do you see … changingin the future?
Do you think that in thefuture people will …?
What do you think willhappen to … in the future?
In your opinion,which/what … will become more … in the future?
(Describing various aspects)
In what ways …?
What kind/sort/type of …?
How important is it for …to (do …)?
How has … changed (in yourcountry) in the last … years?
(Defending your choice)
Is it better to (do …) or(do …)?
Should people always … oris it a good idea sometimes to (do …)?
Which is more important toyou: … or …?
Which do people in yourcountry prefer: … or …?
(Using your common sense)
Any yes-no question thatinvolves a clearly positive or negative answer
Any question that asks youabout the roles, responsibilities and general qualities of a social group
Any question that asks youabout common knowledge, everyday experience and traditional culture
(Offering solutions)
What can … do to (do …)?
What can be done to (do…)?
What do you think is thebest way for … to (do …)?
Are there other wayspeople can …, apart from …? How?
(Connecting causes with effects)
What effect has … had on…?
How has … affected …?
Are there any negativeeffects of … doing …? What are they?
What do you think causes …to …?
(Comparing similarities and differences)
How does … compare with …?
How do you compare … with…?
Do you think … wasdifferent for your grandparents?
What are similarities anddifferences between … and …?
(Illustrating advantages and disadvantages)
What are the advantages anddisadvantages of …?
What are the differentadvantages of … and …?
What do you think theirdisadvantages are?
How do people in yourcountry feel about (a controversial issue)?
下面的这套题从place到travel/touri*再到old buildings/historic buildings,提出了一系列问题:
Why do you think peoplelike to travel to different places?
(Giving reasons)
How do you see touri*changing in your country in the future?
(Providing speculations)
Why is it important toprotect the countryside?
In what ways is thecountryside in danger in your country?
(Describing various aspects)
Why are historic buildingsand monuments important to a city?
(Giving reasons)
Is it better to keep oldbuildings, or build new modern ones?
(Defending your choice)

当被问:“Did you have a favorite teacher in high school?”(你上高中时有没有一位最喜欢的教师?)

Do you live in a house or an apartment?(你住在一套房子还是一间房子?里)或“Do you work or are you a student?”(你上班还是上学?)。 I live in an apartment”或”I work”。

Part 2

在那两分钟的时间里,考官唯一能说的话是:“Can you tell me anything more about that?”(你可以再跟我说一点关于那件事的话吗?)

Do most young people in your country prefer doing exercise indoors or outdoors?(在你国家的大多数年轻人更喜欢在室内还是室外锻炼身体?)

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

在第1、3部分应该提问足够多的问题;

考生有机会陈述观点;
