雅思口语part1参考示例:
1.Where do you live?
I live on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, in a district called Tan Phu, about 15 km from the city centre.
2.Do you live in a house or a flat?
I live in a 3 bedroom flat on the 11th floor of a big apartment building.
3.Who do you live with?
I live there with my wife and little baby son.
4.Is it a big place?
It’s pretty big for a flat. It has 3 large bedrooms, one for my wife and I and one for my son when he gets older. It also has a *aller bedroom that I use as a study and to store things in. The kitchen is *all but it is part of a big open plan living room, so there is lots of space for the family.
5.How is your apartment decorated?
I don’t like lots of over the top decoration, so I guess you would describe it as minimalist. The walls are all white and the furniture is also either white or black. There are very few ornaments or pictures because again, I like to keep things quite minimal and I hate clutter.
6.Is there anything you would like to change about your flat?
I would like to have a big balcony. We have a sort of balcony at the moment, but we mainly use it for washing and drying clothes. It would be really nice to have some tables and chairs on a proper balcony, with maybe a few plants, so we could sit there in the evenings and relax.
7. Do you live in a house or an apartment?
I live in a semi-detached house with three bedrooms and a *all garden.
8. Which room do you like most in your house? Why?
My favourite room is the kitchen because it looks out onto the back garden, and it's on the side of the house that catches the afternoon sun.
9. Is there anything about your house that you would like to change?
Well, it would be nice if it were a detached house so that we could have windows on the wall that we currently share with our neighbours.
10. Tell me something else about your house.
The previous owners converted the loft into an extra bedroom; that's the quietest room in the house, and the best place to go to do some work.
高分口语语料:11个爱家乡的原因
Whether you still live there or not, your hometown will always be your home. This is the place you grew up, went to school, and made all your friends and memories. Your hometown is where you made your first friends, where you grew up and became the person you are today. In high school, you couldn’t wait to leave. But it's not until you leave that you realize how much you miss it. Your hometown may not be your favorite place, but it will always be your place.
1. Your house 你的大别墅
This is the place you grew up, the place you know like the back of your hand. You know which step creaks when you step on it, how many hair tools you can plug in before blowing a fuse, and where the perfect hiding places are.
2. All your favorite food 你最爱的食物
You usually plan all your meals on a trip home. Your favorite bagels, deli, pizza, burger, burrito, even your favorite Starbucks are just around the corner. Going home for the weekend is kind of like going on vacation, you don't hold back when it comes to eating.
3. Your family 你的家人
Your parents, your siblings, your grandparents, your aunts and uncles and maybe even a few cousins. Your hometown and your family are basically synonymous.
4. Your home friends 你的老朋友
Your home friends have been there with you through all your awkward stages, all your drama, and most of your weekends. They are the people that get you, and will always be your home base.
5. Your favorite places 你最爱的地方
The parking lot where you sit and talk for hours, the bench at the park, the dock at the marina, your bed, or your best friends basement. The places you are when you need to get out of the house. These are the places that make you feel comfortable, and the places you miss the most.
6. You never get lost 你不会走丢
You NEVER have to use a GPS when you're home. You know where all your friends houses are, and directions include landmarks rather than street names.
7. You can't go anywhere without seeing someone you know 随处是熟人
While yes, this can SUCK when it's Sunday morning and you look like you've gotten hit by a train, it really is comforting to be able to see a familiar face.
8. Your hometown diner 美味的家乡菜
There is truly no diner like your home diner. The loud host that seats you, the diner cookies, the mints you eat at the register. Everything they have is the BEST you’ve ever had. You can try and fight me on it, but my diner will beat yours 10 times out of 10.
9. Your pets 你的宠物
You know that every time you come home, you pet will always be the most excited to see you. They will be the first to greet you and won't leave you alone the entire time you’re home (but you’re not complaining)
10. The memories 回忆
Passing the soccer fields you grew up on, the Friendly’s where you had a few awkward middle school double-dates, the house your best friend used to live in. Driving around your hometown always packs a punch of nostalgia.
11. It will always be there even if you won't 无论走到哪,故乡永远在你心里
You may come and go, but your hometown will always be there, right where you left it. It will always be a part of you, and you will always be a part of it.

4. How long have you lived in your hometown?
I come from Shenyang. My parents have been living here for the past thirty years or so. I grew up here and I attended a well-known school called School number 163. We live in a respectable area with many shops, restaurants, and a variety of other businesses. The people in our building are generally friendly and quite, which makes it a pleasure to live there.
5. Where do you live?
I live with my parents here in Shenyang at the moment. To be more exact,we live in an apartment building in one of the northern suburbs of the city. I have my own room and enjoy the privacy that it brings, but I am looking forward to the day that I can have my own apartment. Allow me to explain:they are good parents, and I love them very much, but I would like to be more independent soon.
6. Where do you live?
Well, that is not so easy to answer. Please allow me to explain. During the week I live in a dormitory at the university, but over weekends I live with my parents in a village about one hour by car from Shenyang. So I really do not know which of the two to call my home at the moment.
7. Can you tell me something about your hometown?
Yes,certainly. Shenyang is in the northeast part of China, and the capital of the Liaoning province. It has about seven million inhabitants. It has many heavy industries such as automobile, aircraft, and machine tool manufacturers. In addition,it is rich in history. For example, the Japanese invaded the city and committed many atrocities(that is to say many crimes)during the occupation. This is still remembered by many of the elderly folks to this day. Another example that I could mention is the Imperial Palace that belonged to the last dynasty - the Qing dynasty- in China.
8. Can you tell me about some famous landscapes in your hometown?
9. Can you tell me about some famous scenic spots in your hometown?
10. What are the main places of interest in your hometown? Why?
11. What places should foreigners visit in your hometown? Why?
Sure. Firstly,I could mention the Hun River, which you will find around the city. To the northeast of the city there is the famous Qing Pan Mountains and the zoological park and botanical gardens. In summer it is a popular place to visit and see tigers, bears, wolves, other animals and even pandas in their natural environment. In winter we often go skiing there. Secondly,I would like to mention Beiling Park. It consists of a large park, with many gardens and a lake. In addition it also is the site of an emperor‘s tomb from the Qing Dynasty. Lastly, there are many other sites that are worthwhile visiting. For example,Government (City Hall) Square with the Great Theater alongside it,Zhongshan Square, and the spectacular TV Tower which is the highest architectural attraction in Shenyang.
12. What places in your hometown do you like best?
There are many places that I like. If I had to choose one place, I would like to tell you about Government Square. Firstly, it is the largest square in Shenyang. What I mean is that it is a large open space where one can see the sky clearly, and feel free. Secondly, it houses an important government building. I guess you could call it the City Hall.
13. What are the main crops in your region?
In our region many crops are grown. For example one would find all kinds of vegetables in the fields of this region. In addition, many farmers have orchards. Here they grow many kinds of fruit like apples, pears, and peaches.
14. What are the main crops in your region?
In our region many crops are grown. For example one would find all kinds of vegetables in the fields of this region. In addition, many farmers have orchards. Here they grow many kinds of fruit like apples, pears, and peaches. Lastly, it is important to note that Shenyang is note known for its agriculture. It is better known as an industrial city. For example, here are many heavy industries manufacturing anything from aircraft and automobiles to machine tools.
15. What is the difference between your hometown and Beijing / Hong Kong?
The main difference between Shenyang and Hong Kong is the climate. For example, there they have a tropical climate. That is to say that it is very hot and humid. Here in Shenyang we have cold winters and hot summers. Secondly, Shenyang is an industrial city, whereas Hong Kong is more a financial center. That is to say, here we have many factory workers, or to be more exact, family-orientated workers who are not very wealthy, and in Hong Kong there are many tycoons, millionaires, and wealthy people.
16. What is the difference between your hometown and Beijing / Hong Kong?
The main difference between Shenyang and Hong Kong is the climate. For example, there they have a tropical climate. That is to say that it is very hot and humid. Here in Shenyang we have cold winters and hot summers. Although cities like Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai are larger than my hometown Shenyang, they all are bustling with industrial and cultural activities. Maybe Hong Kong is an exception, as it is better known as one of the most important financial capitals of the world.
17. What are the people like in your hometown?
18. Can you tell me something about the character of the people in your hometown?
Well, they aren‘t any different from the people in any other large city. For example, here we also have good and bad people. Secondly, like everyone else, they are trying to work out a good life for themselves and their children. For example, parents are trying all they can to ensure that their children receive a good education.
19. What are the people like in your hometown?
20. Can you tell me something about the character of the people in your hometown?
Well, they aren‘t any different from the inhabitants in any other large city. For example, here we also have many wholesome families as well as our share of criminal elements in the society. In addition, I believe that my hometown has not been westernized to the same extent as a city like Hong Kong. For example, in Shenyang the people have not become materialistic to the same extent as the inhabitants of Hong Kong. In other words, in Shenyang you would still find many good old-fashioned (traditional) people who have strong principles and values about many aspects of life.

2023最新雅思口语题库话题P3范文:a piece of furniture in your home

Describe a piece of furniture in your home
1. In what situations do people in your country buy furniture? 在你的国家,在什么情况下人们会*家具?
Well, it depends on people, to my mind. Usually my fellow-countrymen do it when they change or remodel their home, when their furniture gets worn out or when they have a new baby or a growing child. Though, I am sure there are people in my country who buy furniture in other situations as well. For example, when their income increases, when they look for personal comfort and need additional furniture or when they just want changes. I also guess there can be a need to buy furniture when children move out or elderly parents move in.
2. In families in your country, who usually decides what furniture to buy for the home? 在你的国家,为家中添置家具由谁决定?
Well, in most cases men and women make this decision together as it's common for women to initiate changes and take on the most responsibility in choosing furniture and other stuff for home but it's the men who usually set the budget and who the final word rests with. Though, there are families in which furnishing a home is a field where men yield to women as they get scared when hearing the word 'decorating’. I also think there are families in which home makeovers are a man's responsibility. So, it could go either way.
3. How do people decide what furniture to buy for the home or office? 人们如何决定为房子或办公室*什么样的家具?
Oh, I think two most important factors people consider when choosing anything including furniture are the cost and the quality. Furniture is a significant investment so it's necessary to spend wisely. This also explains why the quality is important. Good-quality furniture lasts longer and provides great savings in the long term because it withstands the wear and tear a lot better than the cheaply made models. What is more, it creates comfort and adds to people's wellbeing. In some cases people also pay attention to some additional factors like flexibility and functionality, the aesthetic value and the size of their home or office but still bearing the budget and the quality in mind.
4. Do people in your country prefer traditional or modern styles of furniture? 在你的国家,人们更喜欢传统风格还是现代风格的家具?
Well, I think there is no consensus on this question. Tastes differ and people's choice usually depends on what they like and need. If they want to create a traditional atmosphere and add elegance, romance and a touch of royalty to their home, they definitely opt for traditional furniture which is designed to be long-lasting and durable and has a look that never goes out of style. But if they want a fresher look in their home and look for furniture that focuses simplicity and function as well as b nicely into a room without overpowering the entire space, they definitely look among modern styles. So it depends on people's tastes and needs, to my mind.
