转折用though替换but
当你想说but来转折语气，不妨忍一下，然后在句子后面加个though，立马瞬间洋气了许多！
多用副词
例如exactly， basically， really这些副词可以加强或者缓和语气，更准确的表达我们的真实想法。
使用从句增色语言
使用简单不易出错的同位语从句，例如：
People are now aware of the fact that many restaurants are not that hygienic.
Despite the fact that she was wearing a seat belt， she was thrown sharply forward.
多用强调句式，增加语法的广度
例如礼物类话题的万年句式：
It doesn＇t matter how expensive the gift is， it＇s the thought that matters.
用tend to替换most of
当你想说most of… 的时候，不妨改口成tend to，词汇量有没有显得多一些！例如：
Most Chinese people cook at home instead of dining out. 就可以说成Chinese people tend to cook at home.
避免过多使用very
口语答案里面呢，要有意识的尽可能抛弃very，一种方法是用pretty替代，另一种就直接用个更高级的形容词。例如：
That performance was pretty impressive.
I＇m pretty sure about that.
还有instead of saying “very angry”， you can use the word “furious”.
那同理，如果我们想表达a little + adj.，也可以找到相应的更传神的形容词，例如：tipsy = a little drunk。
形容词前加副词
这也是不错的应急措施哦，如果实在想不到高大上的形容词了，就用一个副词来加强一下情感，例如：
She＇s shockingly beautiful.
It＇s an outrageously expensive meal.
避免生硬地说NO
同学们在回答考官问题的时候，其实自己也觉得说个No很伤感情，那怎么能用比较不伤感情的语言表达同样的意思呢，下面的几句可以记一下：
-Does your school have diving classes？
-Not that I＇m aware of， no.
（至少）我不知道。（潜台词：可能有，不过我不知道。）
-Have you ever had the experience when you watched the sky for a long time？
-Not that I can think of， no.
我想不到。（潜台词：可能有，不过我暂时想不到，暂时记不起来。）
-Do you love nature？
-Well， not really. I＇m more of an indoor person.
注意，每一个yes or no之后，一定要加原因哦！
三、雅思口语考试误区
高级词汇叠加乱用
这是在烤鸭圈中普遍存在的一个误区，以为运用那些“高大上”的词语就可以获得高分，其实并非如此。
雅思口语考试的侧重点在于考生是否可以熟练地与人沟通。就如我们在各大影视作品中看到的那样，外国人在日常交流中，并不会使用那些生僻的难词，而是用简单的词句将意思表达出来。
而且，一些高大上的单词的用法比较特殊，适用的情景也有不同，把握不好的话，反而显得不伦不类，最后影响了分数。
语调一平到底
很多考生很注意自己的英语发音或连读、弱读等技巧，但是却忽视了自己的语调，但其实语调也是最能分辨口音的因素之一。许多人一开口就能被听出来是中国人，就是因为语调的问题。
英语的语调很善变，和中文语调有很大不同。以下这些英语语调规律，大家可以参考一下。
一般在疑问句和有话要说的时候，可以使用升调；在陈述句、特殊疑问句时，用降调；预示停顿，并且后面的内容让人吃惊或失望，先用降调，最后用升调；举例子时，先用升调，再用降调。
被打断时很慌张
雅思口语考试很考验考生的心里素质，能不能顺利拿下高分和考试时的心情也有很大关系。
在考试中，考官会因为某些原因（比如控制考试时间）打断考生，这是一件非常正常的事情。大家一定不要因为被打断而紧张，导致大脑一片空白，影响后面的发挥。
背诵答案
许多考生在备考时，都会预先写好完整的答案并背诵，更有甚者，会花钱在网上*一些所谓的高分模版。殊不知，背诵答案是考官们最深恶痛绝的一件事情。

I can see advertisements everywhere， like in the elevators，streets and the list can go quite long. Most of the ti time， I would just ignore them because they are cheesy.

Yes， a lot. If my memory serves correctly， it was about five years ago， my favorite singer Jay Chou played a male lead i iin a tv commercial. He seemed to be happy， drinking milk tea with a beautiful young lady. In the ad， having milk tea seems romantic. Then I bought that milk tea but it was too oily and sweet.
DoDo you watch advertisements from the beginning to the end？
No I never have the patience or time to watch the entire ad which are mostly exaggerating. Maybe when I was a kid， I would be attracted by the cute animals figures in the ad.

大家总是听到口语老师说buying time words（so ，well ，although…），其实这些单词不仅可以单独使用，连起来用可能更自然，而且能给你更多的时间来组织自己下一步的思路哦 。例如“wow， that＇s a really interesting question， i have never really thought about it before， let me think for a second. Well， you see， i have to say…，＂ 看看，这些废话加起来绝对给了你超过五秒钟的时间来collect your thoughts，所以在流利度和连贯性这个评分标准里，你的分数应该不会太低。
考官的口音问题因为除了英国考官，大家还会遇到印度考官，中国考官，澳大利亚考官等等，各种奇葩的口音很可能会影响到考生对题目的理解，所以当类似的情况发生时，可以用以下的这些句子来让考官重复问题或者换个方式来问你 ： 1. 当你没听懂某个词或者表达方式的时候：
＂Sorry but could you explain what you mean by ........＂ or ＂I haven＇t come across that word/expression before. Could you explain what you mean？＂2. 当你没听清楚的时候：
＂Excuse me， I didn＇t quite catch that. Could you say that again？＂
＂I＇m sorry， but would you mind repeating that？＂3. 当你不确定自己听的是否正确的时候：
＂Do you mean ........＂

雅思口语评分标准
发音
发音可以分成两个部分，一个是单词的发音，还有一个是句子的“发音”。单词的发音只要把元音、辅音、重音这几点把握好，就可以读的很准确；而*字典都有发音功能，跟着念两遍就行了。
语法
口语语法不需要太花哨，要高分的话，需要保证两点：第一是避免低级的语法错误，第二是避免单调的句式结构。只要平时练习的时候稍加注意，就可以避免绝大部分语法错误。
常见的口语低级语法错误有：第一是时态错乱，一会现在时、一会过去时，或者直接用错时态。第二是第三人称单数和复数名词不加s。第三是He/She不分，这个听了最崩溃。
词汇
词汇方面重点考察两点，第一是话题词汇的多样性和丰富程度，第二是用词的准确性。比如让你谈论一个你钦佩的人，考官就会期待你说出一些描述人物性格、行为的单词（chari*atic， optimistic），并且要在正确的语境下使用这些词。但是千万不要为了体现自己词汇量大而故意用一些高大上的词，这样只会起到反作用。
流利和连贯
流利指的是说话的时候很少有停顿，所有的停顿都是交谈中自然的停顿，且不影响意思的表达。连贯指的是句语句之间有过渡词和逻辑连接词，语义也相关，而不是生硬的拼凑。流利和连贯并不是一定要滔滔不绝，而是保证对话的流畅。
雅思口语备考技巧
随时随地学和练习
千万不要觉得只在课堂上学英语就够了，这是学英语的一个误区。因为真正用英语最多的地方，其实在课堂外。不管是书面还是口语，都要和人交流，而在交流的过程中又可以学习到新知识，形成一个良性循环。
分类总结、举一反三

可以巧妙地运用一些犹豫表达，好像在边想边说，也可以询问一两句考官的想法。另外，如果被问到自己不熟悉的话题，有些考生因为紧张会出现冷场现象，这时千万*，或苦思冥想。这样不仅不能解决问题，反而给考官留下一种不会表达的印象。可以尽量控制谈话，试着改变题目；对比较难回答的问题，尽量偏离它。
