Part 1 Walking
Where do you usually take awalk？
Do you walk more often than inthe past？
Do you walk a lot？
Do you think people will walkmore in the future？
I usually take a walk along the river nearmy home. My families will just go there to take a casual stroll together after dinner. It helps us to relax. I feel it’s a form of meditation. I will think about what I did， and how I feel in the day. It really helps me to refresh.
To be honest， I walk way less than in the past. Since I would take PE class when I was a student. Now， as an English teacher， I am just confined to my desk and computer. Day after day， I just become lazy， and don’t want to move a lot and barely do any exercise. I feel this sedentary lifestyle is not good to my health. Now I get tired easily. Therefore，I plan to go to gym next month.
However， I still think it is hard for people to walk more in the future， because we have so many advanced transportation methods， such as cars， bikes， subways， and buses. And we will have even more inthe future. There is just no need for us to walk. Like， right now， Hangzhou is constructing subway systems. After a few years， you can go everywhere in Hangzhou by subway. It’s so convenient that I don’t need to walk to somewhere
