1.Do you often use maps?
Yeah! Of course. I'm always using a map while traveling in Shanghai basically because Shanghai is too big and complicate for me to find the right place. Usually, I would install a map app in my mobile phone previously.
2. When do you use a map?
When I was traveling outside my hometown, I used the map frequently. Not only from the map can I know the destination but also I can have a rough picture of the city.
3.Who taught you how to use a map?
Well, my friend Tommy taught me how to use the map. Before that, I could be totally lost when I am traveling by myself. I learnt how to read map fast because he was a good teacher and was really master of using maps.
4.Do you prefer to use electronic maps or those made of paper?
I prefer to use electronic maps to those made of paper not only because the former is more convenient and easier to carry than the latter, but also because electronic ones can position the location.

1. Do you (or, did you) have a favorite teacher?
Yes, it's Mr. Liu, my middle school English teacher. He was then in his twenties. I'll always remember his amiable *ile in his first class.
2. Why do you like him/her?
Wow, he was really a charming gentleman. He spoke English in such a standard and fluent way, that I was soon attracted by his accent. Besides, he possessed a good knowledge of English, from whom I have learned a lot.
3. How does (or did) this teacher help you?
To me, the most important thing was that he aroused my interest in English study. His classes were so vivid and lively that I could not wait to have English classes every week. During those years, I succeeded in memorizing a large vocabulary and some well-written English articles. I still benefit from that period of time until now.
4. Do you think you could be a teacher?
In the future, I think I could be a teacher. But at present, I haven't become competent enough to go in for teaching. I still need to take some time to acquire more knowledge in my field.

提前准备适合自己的口语高分词汇
在备考的时候，准备一些常用的7分雅思词汇和雅思技巧，在适当的时候脱口而出，会给你的考试增光添色，同时要在考前的练习过程中，掌握好paraphrase的方法，因为在雅思考试的过程中，由于紧张或者是本身词汇的匮乏，在自己不会的单词上面会卡壳，而雅思口语是相对比较灵活的，在这种情况下，需要我们用其他的话去替代那个卡壳的点，这样你的雅思口语就会顺畅、自然。
灵活应对雅思口语考试中的话题
雅思考试中的话题有很多，疑难话题是大家拿到雅思口语满分的最大障碍，当你在雅思考试的时候，遇到的题目是从来没有见过的，或者是自己比较生疏的话题，需要你灵活转换，但是当你无法做到灵活转化的时候，那就需要说一个最容易而且最能说出内容的话题。
充分利用考试中笔记记录
雅思口语考试中的一张纸，就是第二部分开始的时候，考官会给你一张纸和一支笔，让你在思考的时候可以做一些笔记，有些考生觉得做笔记没什么意义，因为做完了之后，说的时候还是和笔记大相径庭，这说明考生在下面练习的时候没有很好的掌握通过看笔记说英语的习惯，因此在考场上才会觉得笔记没太大作用。
三、雅思口语考试注意事项
手势方面：
手势是特别好的一种吸引关注的方式，但是有一些身体动作，一定不要在考试时做哦。例如，用手指对方、是非常不礼貌的行为，大力度的挥舞手臂或者抖动双腿都是非常没有礼貌的表现。抓耳、摸鼻的动作会让考官觉得你在撒谎，咬手指或者挠头皮之类的动作也千万不要做，否则有洁癖的考官肯定会对你个人印象非常差。
目光接触方面：
目光接触要有，但是千万不可以直勾勾的盯着考官，否则考官会感觉到尴尬。另外有些人讲话在加重语气时喜欢瞪大眼睛，可是在西方人看来眼睛瞪大很不礼貌，多有怒目的感觉。其实从西方电影中也不难发现，西方人表示惊讶时通常是吐舌头或微微耸肩，很少有人瞪大眼睛的。
咬笔头：
第三点，千万不要习惯性咬笔头！在雅思考试topic2时，考官会给你一支铅笔，让你写点什么。平常有咬笔头习惯的考生千万注意了，不要去咬这只笔的笔头啊，后面的考生还要用这只笔，考官看到你咬它会觉得很不卫生，对你的印象也会大大打折扣。
谈话的音量方面：

Q:Do you think festivals are important for your country?
ANSWER: Yes, of course. It’s very important for two reasons.For the country, it’s a time to remember our cultural origin and our historical past.The whole country celebrates our root and it’s very inspiring.We become so proud of our past.I guess that’s why festivals are important.For the individual, festivals give us a chance for relaxation as we often have a few days off. It’s a time of fun, meeting friends, entertainment.So after that we feel like a new man.In a sense, holidays restore our balance between work and leisure.That’s also why we need festivals for China.

I think the original significance for festivals are to celebrate our tradition.It’s an end to the old year and the beginning of a new year. So it’s a connecting day.But today, people are so busy, they’re under so much pressure and they no longer feel the transition between the old and the new year. Some companies even ask their employees to come in on holidays. So many people begin to feel that festivals are just as common as the other days.People no longer take the opportunities of festivals to honor their tradition,but go shopping, go to restaurant to entertain instead.So I think tradition is out, consumption is in.Festivals provide people such an excuse to put down their work, to spend money and be extravagant, and to meet people that they don’t have time for during the working year.So in this sense, even the original significance is lost, festivals are still exciting.

Q:Do people in yu town celebrate any festival from different country?
Answer: Yeah. They do celebrate the festivals. As the old proverb said "Do as the Roman’s Do", now it could change to be "Do as Chinese Do". Foreigners who are working in China are increasingly walking into Chinese life nowadays. They have much more festivals to celebrate, such as Christmas day and Spring Festival, enjoying two different but the same joyful festivals.

Q: How do you compare the chinese festivals with the western festivals?
Answer: The world is changing so fast.People are embracing new lifestyles as East and West come together.Westerners begin to eat dumplings with chopsticks to celebrate Chinese Spring Festival. And Chinese young people exchange chocolates and roses on Valentine’s day. So, you see? People are experimenting with new life patterns.And it’s quite possible that new festivals may be invented or introduced.Wouldn’t that be cool?What kind? Well, I don’t know for sure because it’s the future right? But I heard this year, in my country, some people celebrated the men’s day, which is on August the third.It’s dorky.
