Do you like art?
I am a diehard fan of art. When talking about art, it is just natural to think of those big names like Van Gogh, Da Vinci, or something like that. But I think art can be cute and simple as well. Pop art with striking colors and round shapes is my cup of tea.
Have you ever visited an art gallery?
I have lived in quite a few metropolises from Shanghai, London to Beijing, all cities with incredibly diverse arts and cultures as well as art galleries. So I often visit an art gallery with my friends. In most cases, we have no idea what the paintings at the exhibition are about but we had a lot of fun taking selfies with those mysterious paintings as our background.
Is there any artwork on the wall in your room?
Quite a lot. My father had a lot of friends working in the field of art like traditional Chinese papercutting, calligraphy, traditional Chinese brush paintings and sculpture. On holidays, we often receive artwork from his friends. These beautiful pieces will be hung on our wall in the living room.
Have you ever had art classes?
Yes, I signed up for calligraphy class and painting class when I was in primary school. Every summer holiday, I enjoyed drawing natural scenery, big buildings and strip-cartoons with my crayon. My teacher often said I was talented.
