My favourite singer at the moment is the female pop star Taylor Swift. She is an American singer and one of the most famous musicians in the world. Originally, she was a country singer but as her career progressed, she has become a mainstream (主流）pop artist. She is a very sensitive and emotional person, and these emotions can often be felt in her music. She has a very kind and warm personality. In contrast (比较起来）to this, her music is so powerful and foil of passion. She makes very upbeat (乐观的）and emotive pop ballads (流行民摇）.I first discovered Taylor Swift when I was very young and one of her songs played on the radio. The track was called ‘Our Song5 and it instantly became my favorite song.

The reason why she is my favourite singer is because I find her music very rhythmic (有节奏 ) and full of passion. Therefore, I like to listen to her after I come home from a long day of working. I find her music always put me in a very good mood. Moreover, I think I particularly like Taylor Swift because she pays a lot of care and attention to the singing in her music. I have aspirations (愿望）of becoming a professional singer myself one day, and therefore I find Taylor Swift to be a very inspiring person. Therefore, I not only love her music but I also find her life to be a great inspiration to me. It is because of this that she is my favourite ever musician.
