1. What personalities and qualities are required for being a volunteer?

Tb be a volunteer the most important thing is to be hardworking and compassionate. Volunteering is often difficult and, as it is unpaid, volunteers must do their work out of the goodness of their heart and not for monetary incentive. Therefore, perfect volunteers need to be kind and empathetic people. It is also crucial that they are committed and diligent in their work, as often volunteer work is very important. So, a good work ethic and a generous heart are the personalities and qualities required for being a volunteer.

2. How can companies engaging in volunteering help our society?

Companies that engage in volunteer work help our society in a huge way. Volunteer work is often work that is done for the most vulnerable and unprivileged people in our society, so it is very important work. Volunteer companies help elderly people without family, poor children that do not have access to education and homeless people who struggle to find food just to name a few examples. Therefore, we improve as a society when these companies supply volunteers who offer their labour to help the most vulnerable.

3. Do you think people nowadays should participate more in volunteering?

I think it is very important that people nowadays participate more in volunteering. The modem world is full of inequality and suffering, and volunteering is an effective way of trying to make a difference. I think if more people participated in volunteering then we would be able to create a better world for those with the least opportunities. Charity is important and offers opportunities and relief to those who need it the most. So, it would be much better it everyone participated in more volunteering.

4. How do modem technologies assist volunteers and volunteering experiences?

Modem technologies improve the lives of everyone in society and this is true of volunteers as well. Modem technologies allow for new ways for people to do charity work and volunteer. For example, there are some charities that offer social support for elderly people who do not have any family left. Modem telecommunication and video communication technologies allow volunteers to have conversations with elderly people from anywhere in the world. This is an exciting and new way technology has assisted in the volunteering experience.
