Actually I don’t know much about laws, but recently I heard that there’s been a hike in the minimum wage for workers, which, I think, is a good law for our country.

About a month ago, I came to know about this news from an APP that I often use. People were all talking about this newly-introduced rule and were making comments on that APP. Some people were happy about this decision; particularly the law would seem to improve the life quality of the working-class people. On the other hand, as we can see, that there were also complains and doubts about this law. Obviously, well, those are from the employers, who always manage to create more value with less cost. In addition, they were also worried about whether this new law would cause some chaos for their management, since, you know, people can never get completely satisfied.

However, I think it is an urgent and ambitious action to reduce the gap between the rich and poor. Nowadays, most wealth is owned by the minority. Some people work very hard all his or her life just for their daily bread, while others are born with a silver spoon in their mouths. This unbalanced distribution of social resources, I think, is pretty much the agenda for this country, and also for the whole world. This new law helps to elevate the lives of working-class people across the country. They are having access to a decent life, with better medical and education environment for their family, which would definitely contribute to the stability and unity of the society. So that’s why I think it’s a good law for our country indeed.
