范文解析

这道题目要求考生描述一个自己想换掉的东西，要注意的是，这个东西是自己已经有的，只是想换新的，而不要写成自己想*的一样新东西。题目下面的小问题有四个，分别是：介绍这件东西是什么；你什么时候拥有的它；你得到它的方式是怎么样的以及你为什么想要换掉它。关于第二点和第三点可以结合起来回答，最后一点也可以展开回答。

范文

I pretty much want to get rid of my current bicycle and get a new one. I bought it three years ago in a bicycle shop near my neighborhood. It cost me 500 yuan. I think it’s worth the price because it looks pretty cool with its purple and shining main color and streamlining design on the wheels. I bet anyone who rides on it must look fabulous. I use it almost every weekday because it’s very convenient. You know, in big cities like Beijing, the traffic is very bad and subway crowded. That’s the reason why I would rather ride a bike to work than become one of those sardines in the subway, and it’s also good for health.

But now my bike doesn’t work very well. It looks totally like an old one as if I have used it for ten years. And I don’t know why. Well, honestly, I didn’t treat my bike in a friendly way. I use it when it rains, snows, and even when there is a sand storm. What’s worse, I’m going to replace it with a new one, because my friends always tease me about it. They say it looks like a bike that I’ve bought from the flea market. I feel embarrassed so I’ m determined to get a new bicycle. In fact, anything will wear if we use it for a long time. I’m not that kind of person who discards the old things and pursue new ones. But I think it’s ok for us to replace a bike which has been used for 3 years with a newer and cooler one.
