Describe a time that you were shopping in a street market.

范文解析

这道题目要求考生描述一次自己在露天市场购物的经历，有两点需要注意：第一，就是一定要描述自己的亲身经历，而不是别人的；第二，就是这次购物经历是在露天市场 street market，而不能说是在商场或者别的地方。
具体的小问题有四个，分别是：

描述那次购物发生的时间；
露天市场的地点是在哪里；
购*了什么东西；
你对这次购物的经历的感受是什么。

这道题目中，大家可以着重回答第二个和第四个小问题，比较好展开。

中文大纲

事件：一次购*海鲜的经历
购物时间：有一天
地点：家附近的路边市场
购*的东西：2kg 螃蟹
感受：因为*到了变质的螃蟹而导致身体不舒服还得去看医生。因此，不能为了贪小便宜而*坏的食物，以后再也不*打折的食物了。但对露天市场本身没有偏见，在那里还是可以*到新鲜又便宜的食物。

范文

Well I’m a big fan of sea food. And also I’m a meat eater. I just cannot say no to fishes, shrimps, lobsters and crabs etc. The other day, I went to a street market near my neighborhood and bought two kilos of crabs.

The market was very big. It sells everything. You can find any kind of groceries in it, such as vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy, bakery whatsoever. And they offer reasonable prices. The food there is fresh and of good quality, so almost every household in the community would like to go there. But unfortunately, I bought something bad, the shop owner gave me a 20% percent discount for the crabs, and I did not pay attention to the trick. I thought he was just being nice to his loyal client. But it turned out that the crabs went bad when I brought it home and I cooked and ate them before I knew it. So obviously I had a hard time after. I had some red rash on my arms and legs. It itched like crazy, which drove me mad. It did not work even though I took some medicine.

So at the end of the day, I went to see the doctor. The doctor said it was allergy. And he told me not to eat a lot of sea food during summer when food easily went bad, and once the food went bad, it would cause vomiting, allergies and even coma. He said I was lucky because I did not eat much of it. He gave me a prescription and I had IV drip.

OMG. I regret buying cheap goods and gaining petty advantages. I swear I will never ever buy discount goods. And I will pay extra attention to the food I buy, it was like a nightmare. But I have no bias over street market. Anyways, it is a place where we can buy fresh and cheap goods.
