I guess that many people would say physics, well so would I. I am now attending law school, which obviously has nothing to do with physics. But back in my childhood-when I was about 8-9 years old- I was quite dedicated to be a scientist when I grow up. Back then, primary school don't have physics class, only an optional class called "natural science". The teacher would introduce to us some basic experiments to inspire our interests in natural science.

I became fascinated with physics after one class over static electricity. You know the so-called Tesla thing people like to talk about-the scientist, I mean, not the car company[haha]. When our teacher turned of the light in the classroom and showed us the beauty of volatic arc, I was kind of addicted to electricity.

I begged my parents to take me to the science museum to experience more electric discharge devices, where the electric arc are larger and seemed more violent. I got to watch documentaries over how mankind tame the power of electricity-you know, some scientists even lost their lives in their experiments. I guess that's why people grow their affection, danger and fear as well as excitement.

Unfortunately I didn't keep on my pursuit on my dream because I found that physics requires calculation. Don't get me wrong, I respect maths as the most powerful tool to solve scientific problems. But I just don't like the idea that it should be applied to any aspect in science.

But I found that many people like electricity as much as I do, or where do those characters who could control storm and thunder in comics or games come from? I have a plan: should I have spare time after I start my career as a lawyer, I would spend some time investigate more about physics, especially electricity.
