《十天突破雅思口语》
首先，除了前言目录附录，此书共有十个章节，分别是Day1至Day10。毋庸置疑，这显然是标题党，光Day8这一章有180多页，其它章节的页数分配也都严重不均，在十几页至四十几页不等。大概这本书默认你一天能学习24小时吧，不然你根本没法按照他的进度进行复习。 在内容分配上，Day1和Day2是在帮大家扫盲，Day3至Day6分别讲雅思口语的词汇、句子、段落、发音，Day7至Day9依次讲解考试中的Part1&2&3，最后Day10归纳了一些罕见问题。这本书最大的好处，从内容上也可以看得出，它确实是适合历渗物新手入门的书籍，当考生对考试一无所知的时候，随着慎小嶷老师浮夸的讲解风格，看过前两章就能轻松了解考试注意事项，并解答了很多常见的疑问，如Part1、Part2、Part3分别考什么，考试形式是怎样的，等等。 然而在后面的章节中，慎小嶷老师浮夸的叙事风格，在我看来，完全成了灾难。虽然现在市面上很少有正常讲话就能畅销的参考书，刻意伪装某种风格也是书作者的一种必要的营销手段，然而，当营销的夸张程度和作品内容本身不匹配的时候，就很难不让人讨厌这种到处抖机灵酷爱装深沉的架势。比如，在Day3词汇章节里，作者给不同难度词汇依次叫作“那些花儿”、“冰天雪地裸求都不给的30个冻人词汇”“让考官面部肌肉不停抽搐的动词短语”等等，当我好奇地睁大眼睛看着“让考官面部肌肉不停抽搐的动词短语”时，我竟然看到了诸如“think of””come up with”这种初中生级别的词组，怎么就能让考官面部抽搐了啊喂! 等看到后面几个重点章节的时候，也就是讲解Part1&2&3的时候，我彻底看不下去了。我觉得口语这种东西，最好的办法就是找人练，否则的话就去找口语机经练，我当时就是这么备考的，机经上题库很全的，照着把所有问题和答案都看一遍，自然就知道哪些问题可以合并，遇到不会的问题也知道往哪些问题上去靠拢了。而十天突破里面教的那些乱七八糟的考试技巧到真正考试的时候根本用不上，而给的参考答案，由于此书太过畅销，很可能考试的时候大家说的都一样，考官都能看出来会扣分的。 最后，一句总结慎小嶷的《十天突破雅思口语》：如果你本身的能力在5分这个水平，它能让你提高到6分;如果你本身的能力在7分这个水平，它能让你降低到6分。总之你们就根据自己的需求，是扫盲还是提分，自行选择是否购*此书吧。
《80天喊野攻克雅思口语》
首先，江涛老师依然在前言中表达了自己对于提高口语的一些看法。他认为口语不好的人应该先去练习听力，因为口语是一个交际媒介，听懂别人说的英语是最基本条件。然后有同学就急了说就剩80天了我要学口语你让我听听力?然后他说基础练习是一切口语的起点。先脚踏实地把Part1练好，有开口经验则信心大增。所以Day1至Day20就是针对Part1的练习，一天一个常考话题，每个话题会给出8个不同的答案供参考背诵。Day21至Day60是本书的重点，内容就是针对Part2的的练习，江涛老师认为此部分重在Rephrase，所以他每天的话题都会罗列出一些中文，让你试着去翻译，然后再给出英文回答。后面的20天则是密集强化训练，每天给出10个针对同一话题的问题及英文回答，当然建议先自己试着回答一下再去看答案。 和慎小嶷的十天突破相比，这本书更适合那些已经被扫盲过的考生，就是直接给你上干货，每天的任务很明确，不会跟你瞎扯些别的。英语水平较好的，不妨试一试本书重点强调的方法：Rephrase和Paraphrase。很多英语水平好的学生，如那些过了四六级的，依然无法开口说英语，就是不知道如何把满脑子中文准确翻译成对应的英文。其实呢，由于中西方讲话逻辑的不同，很多时候中文是无法对等直译的，所以Rephrase和Paraphrase就是让你找到另一种说法去表达，可以用同义词或者另一种英语结构。做大量的这种练习之后，可以有效避免卡壳现象，并且对于转变中文思维很有帮助。 需要提醒大家的是，本书被诟病的地方就在于题目太老，很多是出自2003~2004年的真题，和现在的雅思题库还是有很大程度不吻合的。然而，就提高口语水平方面来看，这并不是问题，因为不管你用来练习的题目是关于旅游还是购物，这个过程都会提高你对英文的运用能力，就是将大脑中的想法转化英文时的反应速度和准确度。 江涛老师的《80天攻克雅思口语》就先说到这里，我的建议就是，各位高手不妨一试。
《天后刘薇雅思口语九天高分之路》
首先明确告诉大家，9天看完是不可能的，作者自己也承认，标题党无疑。然后来给《9天》的内容做个总结：第1天扫盲，2~3天讲Part1，4~8天讲Part2&3，第9天讲高频问题。对于三个Part的讲解方法主要就是直接给问题和答案，然后你就照着背就行，方法什么的说得很少，后面基本不说。Part2&3的部分每一个话题都会给出一些单词。我倒是觉得，对于英语好的学生来说，作者在前面讲得那些“正反对立法”，“比较对比法”，“平行分说法”，到真正考试的时候，不见得能派上用场，只要把题目和答案都列好直接背就行了。所有的题目看一遍，能合并的合并，都知道怎么答了，考试的时候信心也会增加。从这个角度看的话，刘薇老师的这本书就显得有些陈旧了，大家倒不如直接去看机经，都是最新的题库。对于英语基础不好的学生来说，一本充满了问题回答问题回答的书，对他们来说很难看进去，甚至都看不懂。当然一本书很难同时照顾到学习好的和学习不好的学生。我见过很多连问题都听不懂的学生，那对他们来讲，要想提高口语，恐怕要先提高听力，要提高听力，就要先把基础打好啦。反正我个人还蛮喜欢这本书的创作风格的，废话不多，都是干货，而且没有那么畅销，背下来和别的考生相撞的机率也更小一些。如果你英语水平较好，时间也很充裕，想要自学口语的话，就抓住这本书大声朗读吧。就算话题陈旧，但读着读着就能张口讲话了~然后有时间就去刷机经~最后给大家提个醒，在选择老师或者培训机构的时候，你看到的，台前那个英俊潇洒幽默搞笑的老师，和实际上课的老师是不同的。台前的那个可能只是个营销团队，使出浑身解数让你报班而已。而培训机构的师资、价格、上课模式、教学口碑等，才是你真正要关心的。
《雅思口语多米诺》白金版
陈湃老师先说了，为什么写这本书呢，因为雅思题库上千道题，但是可以把Part1分成21类，Part2分成5类，Part3分成9类，根据话题的相似性和连带性，把题目串连在一起，像多米诺骨牌一样，推倒一张就能推倒一片。其实就跟我平时让学生把雅思机经所有题目都看一遍，然后把不同问题的同一答法归类的道理一样，手里有粮，心里不慌，就是这个意思。
说到内容方面，一共4章，第一章扫盲，第二章讲Part1的21个类别，第三章Part2的5大类，第四章就是Part3的9类。用下来的感受就是，part1内容也太多了吧，每个话题下的小问题数量都不一样，比如Name话题下有3个小问题，而Work & Study下面有25个小问题，到Part2部分的时候，作者先给出一些问题和回答，并附上中文解释，然后再把以上的回答串起来去回答其它的问题，很好地解释了什么是多米诺大法。而且素材真得很齐全，比如人物类举例横跨政体娱商界，口语考试中觉得自己缺乏谈资不知道说什么的同学可以把这本书当作很好的扩充素材。有同学反应所给答案过长2分钟之内读都读不完，其实大家大可不必全都原样背诵下来，把这些内容都理解吸收了，用的时候能自由调取长度和内容就OK了。
还有同学说这本书充斥着陈湃老师的小资生活，咖啡店就说星巴克，家具就说宜家，饭店就说俏江南，酒店就说帆船酒店，广告就说香奈儿，购物商场就说三里屯，城市就说三亚，玩具就说进口的变形金刚，小时候的房间就说公主床，歌手就说艾戴儿，朋友邻居同学就说老外，还时不时在书里插几张在牛津、剑桥、耶鲁、哈佛旅游的彩照，手里还不忘提一个驴牌的包。哈哈。其实这就是本口语素材书，确实没有讲特别多的技巧之类的，以内容取胜，陈湃老师这样写也是为了显得Fashion呀，就像一定要忍受广场舞的话你不也希望音乐放点儿喜庆的嘛。

以上为04年1月至11月的雅思作文TASK1的题型出现的频率，由此可见，柱形图以及表格图出现的频率是最高的，均为17次；；而饼图、线图以及前几年并不常常出现的流程图并列第二，出现的次数为6次；地图以及混合图到目前为止出现的频率最低，只有4次

因此，从数量上来分析，已经遥遥领先的柱形图和表格图出现的机率可能降低，然而并列第二中的两种图形即饼图以及线图则在接下来一个多月的考试中很有可能再次出现，混合图以及地图出也需要考生好好准备，切勿掉以轻心。
